I am so sorry to hear this news. I worked in the IT department of AVCO Lycoming for 30 years and new Dave quite well. I got to know Dave because we shared some history. It turns out that Dave was married to someone that also lived in Seaside Village as a child. I lived on Burnham St 3 doors away from Betsy. Please accept my deepest sympathies and know that Dave will be remembered and missed.
Very sorry for your loss. Dave and I have known each other for a long time and we enjoyed one another's company at Prep baseball games and working out at the Shelton gym. He and I shared a sincere love of baseball, particularly at the local high school level. We pray that he rests in peace and that the good Lord gives you strength and trust in your time of sorrow.

I was saddened by the announcement in the paper of Dave's passing. I have many fine memories of the times we shared on the golf course over the years and I don't think we ever finished off a round without a laugh or two at either his expense or mine. Thankfully you have your son and grandchildren to lean on at this time.
