Obituary of Madeline C. Birarelli

Madeline C. "Midge" (Mieczkowski) Birarelli, age 78 of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles “Barry” Birarelli. Born in Northampton, MA on June 10, 1943 she was a daughter of the late Edward J. and Wanda D. (Berestka) Mieczkowski. She enjoyed playing tennis and her “green thumb” was clearly evident in her gardening capabilities which were admired by many. Her greatest enjoyment however was found in the time she spent surrounded by her family and friends. A loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving son, Christopher Birarelli of Trumbull, her sisters, June Mieczkowski and Debbie Hosley, her brothers, Theodore and John Mieczkowski, brothers-in-law, James, Joseph and Robert Birarelli, dear family friend, Sheri Randazzo as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Edward Mieczkowski.

Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
