Tribute to Enzo Cerrato Although I didn’t spend a lot of time with Enzo Cerrato, he was important to me because he was Adriana’s dad. I remember him as a very handsome man, friendly, seeming to be serious but also funny, and not liking to receive a lot of presents. He would tell Adriana, no presents please, which always stuck in my mind. Once I ate in Bridgeport at the kitchen table and he was there. That’s it, not much of a memory, but it is these very small scenes which come back to me now. I would see him from time to time with Adriana’s mom, Loretta, and they came to be important adults in my life, and they came to my wedding. When it was time to start the dancing, there was hesitation among my rather reserved relations, but Enzo and Loretta got right up and started dancing, spinning around. I think they said something about Italian weddings! I have a photo of them, dancing and laughing, which I would have liked to attach here, but unfortunately, the wedding album is in a moving box somewhere, along with many other souvenirs of the past. Someday I will come across it and I’ll see them dancing, and in some small way, the past will stay alive. All my love to you Adriana and all the Cerrato family. Kellie
