Obituary of Charles Glover McNeiece

Trumbull Resident Charles Glover McNeiece, age 84, entered into eternal rest with his loving and devoted family at his side on Friday, August 11, 2006 at St. Vincents Hospital. Born in Goshen, NY, he was the son of the late William and Charlotte McNeiece. Charlie has lived in Trumbull for the past fifty years. He will be deeply missed by his wife Anna Mastronardi McNeiece and his three children, Charles G. McNeiece, Jr., and his wife Michelle of Narraganset, RI, Catherine McNeiece of Trumbull, and Mark McNeiece and his wife Diane of Trumbull. He will also be missed by his loving grandchildren, Charles McNeiece III, and his wife Kathleen, Brian McNeiece, and his wife Tammy, Jason Altieri, and his wife Allison, Jessica Altieri Pinter, and her husband Brian, Sara Altieri, Jocelyn and Adam McNeiece, four great grandchildren, Emily and Shannon McNeiece, Eve and Jonas Altieri. Charlie deeply loved his family. His quick wit, sense of humor, and big bright smile were his trademarks. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Pacific Fleet Medical Corp Hospital Apprentice First Class, he moved to Bridgeport. He was the founder of Park City Builders, and Park City Steel Co. in Orange, Ct. He was the president and owner of Flagship Marina in Devon, CT. He was a devoted member of Rotary International where he served as District Governor from 1981-1982. After many years of involvement, including presidency for two years with the Orange Chapter, he continued to become one of the founding members of the Monroe Chapter, where he also served as president from 2005-2006. Charlie was toastmaster for many Rotary events and also spearheaded the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program and led the scholarship committee. He was a devout parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church in Trumbull. He had many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly and they too will miss him deeply. Charlie loved life and lived it to its fullest. He was a true family patriarch who will be missed by all. He is survived by his twin brother, James McNeiece of Fowlerville, MI, and pre-deceased by his older brother William McNeiece, Jr., and a sister Irene Mabee. Funeral Information Friends may call in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull on Monday, August 14, 2006 from 4 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet DIRECTLY at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave. Trumbull for a Mass of Resurrection.
