Obituary of Leona Straub McEnteer

Resident of Shelton Leona Straub McEnteer, age 77, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late William James McEnteer, died on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Scranton, PA on September 21, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Frances Kellett Straub and was a long time resident of Bridgeport before moving to Shelton. Mrs. McEnteer was a former member of St. Ambrose Madonna Guild, Bullard Haven PFO, Cub Scout Den Leader, past Treasurer of Garden Homes Homeowners Association She was a best friend to many people and will be sadly missed. Loving mother of three sons, Michael McEnteer and his wife, Elaine of Winter Park, FL, Kevin McEnteer and his wife, June of Oxford and Brian McEnteer and his wife, Mary of Apex, NC, two daughters, Barbara DAngelico and her husband, Michael of Shelton, and Patricia Soares and her husband, David of Apex, NC. Devoted grandmother of grandchildren, Shannon, Christopher, Colleen, Jason and Sarah McEnteer, Michael and Matthew DAngelico, Jessica, William and Samantha Soares. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Anita Straub and several nieces and nephews. Leona was predeceased by a brother, Theodore Straub and a sister, Mary Huddy. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 9 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church, Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
