Obituary of James J. Mazzucco

Lifelong Resident of Bridgeport MAZZUCCO James J. Mazzucco age 93, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 9, 2010 in his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on December 11, 1916, he was a son of the late Philip and Antoinette Mazzucco. A lifelong Bridgeport resident, he was a member of the Trumbull and Shelton Senior Centers and served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Ben Franklin during World War II. He was employed by the Bridgeport Metal Goods Company as a Tool and Die Maker. Mr. Mazzucco was predeceased by his loving wife Anna V. Ingino Mazzucco. Survivors include two sons, James A. Mazzucco and his wife Cookie of Bridgeport, Philip Mazzucco and his wife Penny of Stamford, a daughter Marianne Rekucki and her husband Gary of New Jersey, his brother Raymond Mazzucco of Florida, three sisters Mary Gianatasio of Bridgeport, Theresa Clyons and her husband John, of Bridgeport and Angie Demanovich of PA. seven cherished grandchildren, William, Jamie, Antoinette, John, Nicholas, Dylan and Luke, as well as several nieces and nephews. The Mazzucco family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to V.N.S. Hospice of Trumbull and Ms. Betty Henderson for all the care that was given. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow with Full Military Honors in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
