Obituary of Ross A. Mastrorocco

Ross A. Mastrorocco, age 72, of Oxford, a retired computer analyst for Perkin Elmer, died on Monday, January 14, 2008 in Griffin Hospital. Born and raised in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Verrilli Mastrorocco and was a graduate of Central High School and a member of the football team. Formerly a Trumbull resident for over 40 years, Mr. Mastrorocco also worked in the Greater Bridgeport area for many years as a real estate broker. He loved to fish, hunt and garden and was an active member and employee of the Oxford Senior Center. He was a U. S. Army Veteran.

Survivors include his wife Josephine Belfiore Mastrorocco, three children, Anthony Mastrorocco of Cromwell, Dina Possenti and her husband Paul of Seymour and Ross Mastrorocco and his wife Bronwyn of Monroe, six grandchildren Philip, Sarah, Max, Benny, Scott and Ryan as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Rd. (Route 67), Oxford on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
