Obituary of John A. Masiak

U.S. Air Force Veteran John A. Masiak age 55, of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 1, 2010 in St. Vincents Medical Center with his loving wife, Vicky Tadduni Masiak, by his side. Born in Derby on February 1, 1955, he was a son of the late Stanley and Catherine Casalvieri Masiak. A lifelong Ansonia resident, he graduated from Ansonia High School and served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by the City of Shelton Highway and Bridges Department for over 25 years. He enjoyed trap shooting and hunting and was a member of the Ansonia Rod & Gun Club. He also enjoyed classic cars and driving his Corvette Stingray. John was a loving husband and will be deeply missed by all. In addition to his beloved wife Vicky of 17 years, survivors include a stepson, Paul Molnar, and grandson Joshua, both of Shelton; a brother, Stanley Masiak, and his wife Peggy of Long Island, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews. John also leaves to cherish his memory his devoted brothers and sisters in law, Anthony Tadduni and his wife Debbie of Monroe, Katina Ventresca and her husband Frank of Bridgeport, Betty Mezzo and her husband Louis of Stratford, and Alfia Pimpinella of Bridgeport. He was predeceased by a brother Richard Masiak. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Pilgrimage Mausoleum at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
