Obituary of Bennie Joseph Marsillio

Devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother Bennie Joseph Marsillio, age 88, of Huntington and formerly of Bridgeport passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on August 19, 1918 he was the son of Peter and Antoinetta Marsillio. A U. S. Army veteran of WW II, he was a retired employee for the State of Connecticut Superior Court, Bridgeport. Bennie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be sadly missed by all. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Passaro and Anna Grauso. Survivors include his devoted wife of 42 years, Berta Moura Marsillio, a loving daughter, Annette Marsillio DeMoura and her husband Tony of Huntington, three sisters, Ida Massimino and Dot Nagy both of Bridgeport and Francis Cennamo of Trumbull, his cherished and adored grandson Antonio DeMoura Jr., his special goddaughter, Anna Paula Sousa Martins of Trumbull, brothers and sisters in law, Ilda Sousa of Trumbull, Luis Moura and his wife Lena, Fernando Moura and his wife Mary all of Bridgeport, and Max Moura and his wife Maria of Monroe as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 9:00 am from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home,419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:00 am in St. Lawrence Church, Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday, February 5, 2007 from 4-8 pm.
