Obituary of James J. Forte

James J. Forte, Jr., age 71, of Stratford, a self employed mason contractor, died Thursday, November 4, 2004 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Bridgeport on September 23, 1933, he was a son of the late James J. and Louise Koscielniak Forte, Sr. A U. S. Navy veteran, he was a lifelong area resident and a member of the Laborers International Union of North America Local #665. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Frances M. Rotz Forte. Survivors include four children, Frank Forte and his wife, Margie of Stratford, Faith Hite and her husband, William of Shelton, Christine Marchetti and her husband, Rich, Jr. of Seymour and Angela Schilling and her husband, Donny of Seymour, his fiance Elsie Carrano of Stratford, a brother, Vincent A. Forte of New Hampshire, two sisters, Sarah E. Forte of Colorado and Angela Cummings of Texas, six grandchildren, Billy Hite, Jr., Richie, Lee and Corey Marchetti and Samantha and Tabatha Schilling. The Forte Family would like to extend special thanks to Mike Sweeney of Connecticut Hospice for his care and kindness. 

Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 8, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m.
