Obituary of Angeline Forte

Angeline Forte, age 93, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Leonard P. Forte, loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, died peacefully at home on October 3, 2013. She was born to James and Anna Allis in 1919 in Bridgeport, CT. Precocious from the start, Angie graduated high school at age 16. After high school, she managed her father's produce market. Later, she graduated from Butler Business School, and became the Executive Secretary to the General Manager of Etna Surety and Casualty. Wherever she went, Angie's fun loving spirit and contagious laughter followed. A fashion plate in her day, she caught Lenny's eye in 1949 at the Ritz Ballroom, and they danced their way to the altar. In 1958 they moved to Trumbull where they raised their three children. Angie and Lenny continued dancing into their mid-80s. Left to cherish her memory are her son, James Forte, and daughterin-law, Shanti Forte, of California; daughters, Lynne Forte of Trumbull and Patricia Forte of West Haven; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Gentile of Shelton and Elaine Allis of Georgia; her Cousin, Margaret Ellis of Bridgeport, her niece Sally Koperwhats of Stratford, and many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Allis and her sister, Kathrine Safko. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow at Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
