Obituary of Alice T. Ford

Alice Therreo Ford, age 91, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Russell J. Ford, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the Jewish Home in Fairfield. Born in Bridgeport on January 21, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Ellison Therreo. Before her retirement Mrs. Ford worked for many years at Hartmann-Conco Inc., formerly of Bridgeport. Alice was a dedicated animal lover. She was devoted to her beloved pets and supported the work of animal rescue foundations. There was always a place in her home for an animal in need. Survivors include a sister, Rose McCarthy of PA as well as seven nieces, many great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mildred Matrenyski and Rita DeJoseph. Funeral Information A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Monday morning from 9:0011:00 a.m. The committal will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford.
