Ginny was truly a remarkable, clever, funny, smart, caring and loving woman. I called her “Aunt Ginny,” because one, she was close with my mom, and two, “first cousin once removed” just doesn’t have the same ring to it. ;) I have been so fortunate as an adult to have continued my relationship with Ginny via delightfully long phone calls. It felt like a family embrace to be in touch with Ginny for insight and creative, clever, and curious opinions, questions and ideas. She and I always shared a special Girl Scout connection which I treasured. Of course we shared about each other’s families, and shall I even begin about all the Marlar family reunions we shared!
