Obituary of Sebastiano C. Lisi

Sebastiano (Sam) C. Lisi Jr., age 79, of Stratford, died on Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Born in Bridgeport on February 22, 1931, he was a son of the late Sebastiano C. Lisi Sr. and Mary Scinto Lisi. Sam was the owner and operator for more than 50 years of Lisi Construction of Stratford. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a Purple Heart recipient.

He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Pauline T. Seren Lisi and three sisters, Theresa Zanchetti, Anna Martin and Lillian Luongo.

Survivors include two loving children, Sebastiano C. Lisi III and his wife Judith of Charleston S.C. and Deborah Lisi-DiBartolomeo and her husband Roy of Orange, three cherished grandchildren, Sebastiano C. Lisi IV and his wife Angie, Patrick Lisi and Katie Lisi, a great granddaughter, Gabriella Lynn Lisi, a brother George Lisi and his wife Frances and a sister Rosalie Meyers and her husband William, all of Stratford, as well as several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his many devoted friends and his beloved canine companion Daisy.

The family would like to thank all the medical professionals for all of their dedication during Sam's time of need. 

Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m.
