Obituary of Patrick J. Vitale Jr.

Patrick J. Vitale Jr., age 85 of Milford, beloved husband of Marceline Hatfield Vitale, died on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Orange Healthcare Center.  Born in Bridgeport on January 29, 1939, he was a son of the late Patrick J. Sr. and Catherine DiGirolamo Vitale, and was a graduate of Fairfield Preparatory School. 

Along with family members, Pat operated Lane’s Hair Stylist of Stratford and Leons Institute of Hair Design in Bridgeport for many years.  He was a dedicated active member of the Milford Christian Church.

In addition to his wife, of 62 years, Marceline, survivors include his loving children, Michael Vitale, Laurie Vitale and Tina Capozzi and her husband Steven, six cherished grandchildren, Michael Vitale Jr., Timothy Vitale and his wife Danielle, Patrick Vitale IV, Hannah Kinsella and her husband Riley, Jaime Capozzi and Gianna Capozzi, two great grandchildren, Christian Vitale and Coral Vitale and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his beloved son, Patrick Vitale III "PJ", brother, Thomas L. Vitale, Sr. and sister-in-law, Olga Vitale, sister, Grace Rowland and brother-in-law, Steve Rowland and brother, Jerome Vitale and sister-in-law, Barbara Vitale.

A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.  Relatives and friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the start of services.
