Obituary of Lois Jeanne Franco

Lois Jeanne Briere Franco, age 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Franco. Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on August 16, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Gaston Lucien Briere and Mary Virginia (Adams) Briere.

Lois was a quality control manager at Voltarc Tubes and Light Sources with over 45 years of dedicated service. She was devoted and enormously supportive to both her job and family and was that person that many people depended on. She was generous to many charities and a very giving person to those close to her. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lois is survived by her sister Carol Lee Wittkofske of Thomaston, CT, a brother, Gaston A. Briere and his wife Arlene of Bridgeport, a daughter-in-law, Ashley Franco and two cherished granddaughters, Angelia and Alina Franco. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Joseph Franco.

A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Friends and relatives may greet the family on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The interment will be private.
