Obituary of Rosalie M. Cisero

Rosalie M. D'Andrea Cisero, age 82, of Bridgeport, beloved wife Robert Cisero, Sr., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on May 16, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose Fugiero D'Andrea. Rosalie was a retired kitchen manager for the Town of Trumbull Board of Education at Daniel's Farm School, dedicating 34 years of service before her retirement in 2019. She truly loved seeing the smiling faces on the children every day. Rosalie also loved to cook for her family, enjoyed singing and spending time at the Trumbull Senior Center. But above all, she was a loving and dedicated wife for 60 years, and a devoted mother and grandmother. She was dedicated to the care of her family always putting their needs before her own. She was at her best when the family was gathered together creating memories to last a lifetime. The smile on her face when her grandchildren were by her side would light the room. The unconditional love she gave will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed. Survivors include her three loving children, Robert Cisero, Jr., Cheryl Durwin and her husband Michael of Hamden, James Cisero and his wife Lisa of Shelton, five cherished grandchildren, Danielle, Jaimee and Victoria Cisero and Mark and Andrea Durwin, a brother Anthony D'Andrea of Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Alphonse (Bob) D'Andrea. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Sue Gernett for her exceptional compassion and loving care of Rosalie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
