Obituary of John A. Pesavento

John A. Pesavento, age 68, beloved husband of Ruth Batts Pesavento of Shelton, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Born in Bridgeport on January 17, 1956, he was a son of the late John V. and Ruth (Graves) Pesavento and was a longtime Shelton resident.

After graduating from Providence College John had a successful career in logistics. John had a deep passion for music, finding joy in listening and playing his guitar. He was a big sports fan and an avid golfer, who enjoyed spending time on the course with friends. Above all, John cherished time with his family, was so proud of them, and felt very blessed to welcome his Granddaughter, Violet.

In addition to his beloved wife Ruth of 33 years, survivors include his three loving daughters, Marissa Pesavento, Jessica Pesavento and Kristen Orosz and her husband Josh, a brother, Thomas Pesavento and his wife Lynn, three sisters, Eva Pesavento, Lori Oren and her husband Dale and Christine Campuzano and a cherished granddaughter, Violet Grace Orosz as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may greet the family on Thursday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
