Obituary of Lynda T. Lewis

Lynda T. Checca Lewis, age 49, of Trumbull passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Mark Lewis. Born in Bridgeport on June 17, 1964 she was a daughter of Rudolph and Florinda Pauciello Checca of Trumbull. Lynda was a graduate of Trumbull High School in 1982 before earning her Associates Degree from Sacred Heart University. She had worked in the legal department of Peoples United Bank as an Assistant Executive Secretary with 30 years of dedicated service. Lynda found great pleasure traveling to Florida and her trips to the casino, however her greatest enjoyment was found in the time she spent with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents and beloved husband of 23 years, Mark, other survivors include her son Dylan Lewis of Trumbull, a sister, Janet France of Naugatuck and her father-in-law, John Lewis of Orange. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Jamie France. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Donations Information In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dylan Lewis Scholarship Fund, through the funeral home.
