To Mr Jackson’s family:
Please accept my condolences on behalf of the parents of the 11th grade at Great Oaks Charter School, and on behalf of my daughter, who was one of his students. He was one of the most committed and involved educators who our children have had the honor of having serve their needs. His passing has left a hole in the hearts and educational experience of this year’s 11th grade. Thank you for sharing him with us. He will never be forgotten. Sleep peacefully, Mr J.

Bryan, you were a real one. You always treated me with kindness, and you were often the voice of reason in high school. You were different, but in a refeshing way. I always had a nice time conversing with you. It makes me sad to see you go so soon - but - you aren't really gone. Not really. Love never dies. Until we meet again!

Words fall so short at these times. Shocking, sad and terrible. Family searching for "why" answers that will never come. Students feel a void they will always remember. I am so sorry for all family and friends. BK

Bryan was a student of mine at HCC, also attended shows at the City Lights Gallery regularly (where I occasionally worked). We kept in touch over the years, and I am so proud of the work he has done in his short time here. May your hearts remember this kind and occasionally snarky soul, who gave the best of himself to all.
