My Father in Law was always happy to see his family around the dinner table. It was the day when I asked him for Rossana’s hand in marriage when I knew he liked me. He didn’t just say yes but he said ok “ma when” He just couldn’t wait to welcome me to the family. He was the salt of the earth. Hard working guy, proud of his work and his family. He made the best home made wine and had an old timer sense of how to make the best Italian sausage regulating the celar temperature by opening the cellar window just enough. He was proud of his military service where he was praised by his commanders. Even thou he retired many years ago, he’s old boss loved him so that to these days he would bring him a Thanksgiving turkey every year. We all loved him dearly and we will miss him always. I will miss making him an espresso and having coffee with him while he would share his stories.
