Obituary of Thomas J. Rosati

Atty. Thomas J. Rosati, age 87, of Stratford passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Josephine (Galluzzo) Rosati, whom he adored and has greatly missed since her passing in November of 2020. Born in Bridgeport on August 7, 1936 he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Mildred (DeLucia) Rosati. He was a graduate of Central High School, where he met the love of his life Josephine and they would later enjoy over 60 amazing years together. Mr. Rosati has been an attorney since 1961 having attended Fairfield University and Fordham Law School. He was one of the longest living members of the Mill River Country Club, where he also served as past president. He was an avid golfer and accomplished clubmaker. His greatest enjoyment was found in the time he spent surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren, whom he adored. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend of many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He loved Josephine dearly and is with her now.

He is survived by his four loving children, Joseph Rosati, and wife Joanne; Attorney Robert Rosati and wife Kristen; Thomas Rosati and wife Patricia; and daughter Melissa Bushka and husband John. He leaves behind his nine beloved grandchildren, Danielle Damone, Michael Rosati, Tommy Rosati, Julia Rosati, Jonathan Bushka, Matthew Rosati, Robby Rosati, Billy Rosati, and Joey Rosati, his sister, Carol O'Connor of FL, his sister-in-law, Trudy Hoff, and special niece Kathleen Hoff, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 11:00 am directly in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford. Interment will be held privately for the immediate family.
