Obituary of Anna G. Fini
Anna G. Fini, age 84, of Highland Hts., Ohio, beloved wife of the late Cesare Fini, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2023.
Anna, known as Anita to her family, was a gentle soul who took great joy in cooking for everyone and was always happiest when surrounded by her family. She carried on the family tradition of making biscotti, lasagna, and her famous gnocchi. Food would magically appear every time you stopped over. She took great joy in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and they always brought a smile to her face. Anna also proudly worked at DiStefano’s Deli for over 30 years. She was born in Torrice, Italy and immigrated to the United State in 1956, settling in the Cleveland area.
Survivors include her loving children, Vincenzo (Dana, nee Paniccia), Raniero (Paula Camino), Pasquale (Antoniette, nee Costanzo) and Franco (Rosie, nee Abdallah). Devoted Nonna of Danamarie (Joseph), Cristina (Joseph), Anita (Paolo), John (fiance Abby), Dominic, Carmen, Vincent, Gabriel, Roman, Nicolas and Rafael. Cherished Big Nonna of Livia, Romeo, Gianni and Michael. Dearest daughter of Pasquale and Enrica Fini (both deceased). Loving sister of Guido (Jean) and Luciano (Peg). Sister-in-law of Rosalinda (Angelo, deceased). Aunt, great aunt and cousin of many.
