Obituary of Manuel Andrade

Manuel Andrade, age 80, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Rosa Andrade, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 23, 2023 in the comfort of his home. Born on March 16, 1943 in Madeira, Portugal, he was the son of the late Joao and Maria Jardim Andrade. Manny was a retired Tool & Die Maker, having worked for Acson Tool for over 40 years.

Manny was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid coin and stamp collector with a love for movies and television, especially westerns and comedies. Of all his passions and hobbies, playing with his grandchildren, especially the newest additions, was his favorite past time.

Manny was dedicated to the love and care of his family and always put their needs before his own. The unconditional love he gave and the values he taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his beloved wife of 58 years, Rosa, survivors include his loving children, Lisa Salgado and her husband Acacio and AnnMarie Holinko and her husband Brian, four cherished grandchildren, Acacio Salgado and his wife Meghan, Felicia Clark and her husband Michael and Gianna and Dean Holinko, two adored great grandchildren, Jackson Salgado and Viviana Clark, two sisters, Polly Teixeira and Lucy Gouveia and her husband Joseph, as well as several brothers and sisters in law along with many nieces and nephews.

All funeral services were held privately and burial took place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
