Obituary of Giuseppe Pisacreta

Giuseppe (Pepe) Pisacreta, age 93, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Montouri Pisacreta, died on Saturday, June 3, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  Born in S. Sossio di Serino, Province of Avellino, Italy on March 20, 1930, he was a son of the late Pellegrino and Assunta DiZuzio Pisacreta. He worked as a cabinet maker for Cabinets by Design. Pepe enjoyed card playing, gardening  and cooking for his family.     

Survivors include four children Susan Lauro and her husband Wayne of Trumbull, Pellegrino Pisacreta and his wife Barbara of  Milford, Michael Pisacreta and his wife Vivianne of Monroe and John Pisacreta of Bridgeport,  a sister, Carmella Pasacreta of Trumbull,  his sister-in-law Joanne Pisacreta of Prospect,  seven grandchildren, Lisa Sosa,  Amanda Goraj and her husband Andy,  Joseph, Gina, Michelle, Amy and Michael Pisacreta, two great grandchildren, Virgil and Mateo Sosa,  as well as brothers and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews in Italy and the U.S.  In addition to his wife Elizabeth, he was predeceased by his brother, Michael Pisacreta and his sister, Theresa Ciocca.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 9 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial.  Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.  Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
