Obituary of Lucille M. Pachera

Lucille Marie Pachera, age 80 a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, CT  passed away peacefully on May 4, 2023 at Gardner Heights Health Care Center with her loving family by her side. She was born in Bridgeport, CT to Albert and Theresa Izzo on January 10, 1940.

Lucille attended St. Augustine grammar school and Notre Dame High School in Fairfield. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She took great pride in raising her children and grandchildren and taking care of her family. Lucille worked in the Guidance office at Bullard Havens HS for 20 years until she retired in 1995. Lucille loved the outdoors, working in her garden, camping in their motorhome throughout many states. She had a passion for cooking, especially Italian. Her famous sauce and meatballs, eggplant parmesan and breaded chicken cutlets were always a favorite. She always made extra, for anyone who stopped by her kitchen and it was always open.  The unconditional love she gave and the values she taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Lucille is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Pachera and her children, Joseph Pachera and Robin Pachera of Coral Springs, FL, John Pachera of Bridgeport, CT and Lisa McBride and Thomas McBride of Weddington, NC. Her wonderful grandchildren whom she loved more than life, Isabella Pachera of Coral Springs, FL, John Robert (JR) and Tess Pachera of Shelton, CT, Jack, Carly and Colin McBride of Weddington NC

Lucille was predeceased by her parents Albert & Theresa Izzo, sisters Nancy Dudeck and Elaine MacDonald.

Our comfort is in knowing that Mom and Dad are together again.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.  A prayer service in celebration of the lives of both Robert and Lucille will take place in the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. Private Burial will be held in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford at the convenience of the family.
