We remember all the great memories of "Wild Bill" Greco driving his cars at the old West Haven Speedway at Donovan Field in Savin Rock, West Haven. We went to Riverside Park at Agawam to watch him when we were teenagers before we were married. Some of our friends like Richie Durso would work on Billy's cars, even my husband a few times. We were invited to watch from the "pits" too. Billy gave us all memories to last a lifetime. Our prayers to all of Billy's family. RIP Wild Bill, you can do your racing in Heaven now. Mr Greco became a close friend after I was restoring his 3 window coupe. His friendship grew to a point of him calling me a distant relative. Meeting his mechanics was also fun.
