Felice "Phil" Ferrari, age 89, beloved husband of Assunta "Sue" (Pagliaroli) Ferrari of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Patrica, Italy on July 26, 1933, he was a son of the late Tomasso and Rosilde (Trani) Ferrari and was a longtime resident of Trumbull.

Phil was employed at Sikorsky Aircraft with nearly 40 years of dedicated service before his retirement as Plant Manager. A true sportsman at heart, he was an avid hunter and enjoyed playing golf, and bowling. He also enjoyed watching soccer and was a dedicated fan of the New York Giants. He had a passion for gardening and spent countless hours tending to his vegetable garden and meticulously working around his yard. Above everything however, his greatest enjoyment was found in the time he spent surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom he adored. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend of many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his loving wife Sue of nearly 69 years, survivors include his three caring daughters, Rosemary Pryor and her husband Kevin of Shelton, Tina Ferrari Devitis and her husband Vito of Italy and Melissa Ferrari of Danbury, a sister, Irma Bayus of Fairfield, seven cherished grandchildren, Heather, David, Stefanie, Philip (Kassidy), Anthony, Andrea and Alessia and three adored great granddaughters, Ava, Jayde and Elaina, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Elaine Carroll-Davila as well as her husband Jose, a brother Angelo Ferrrari and a sister, Serafina Maggini.

All are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial.
