Obituary of Anthony M. Baldino Jr.

Anthony M. Baldino, Jr. age 59, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Janis Calandrelli Baldino, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on June 21, 1963, he was the son of the late Anthony M. Baldino, Sr. and Annette (Delmastro) Baldino and was a longtime resident of Bridgeport before moving to Trumbull. He was predeceased by his first wife of 28 years, Veronica (Lyman) Baldino.

Anthony was an electrical engineer and for over 35 years worked in telecommunications. He started his dedicated career with the former SNET and was currently with Frontier. He had a variety of interests, but to those who knew him, it was sports. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed watching every game he could but his greatest joy came from spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He looked forward to the cheering and supporting them at all of their sporting events. Some of his fondest memories with his family where the many years of vacations at the beach in Wildwood, NJ and all the trips to the casino. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife Janis of 9 years, survivors include his beloved children, Anthony Baldino III and his wife Kelly, Daniel Baldino and his wife Nicole, Melissa Marsolf and her husband Cole, Taylor Baldino and Rob Davis (Ashley), eight loving sisters, Emma Wheway, Mary Benko (Robert), Deborah Tadduni (Tony), Antonetta Caminiti (Charles), Lucille Testani (Jack), Margie Nicolia, Grace Faugno (Lou), and Kathy Sciarrino (Dennis), seven cherished grandchildren, Anthony Baldino, IV, Jack Baldino, Emmett & Veronica Baldino and Alianna, Ayssa & Aubrey Marsolf-Kish and three stepchildren, Laura, Matthew and Diana Tucci as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Sandra Conger.

All are invited to meet directly in St. Andrew Church, 395 Anton St., Bridgeport on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
