Obituary of June M. Lanese

Lifelong Bridgeport Resident June M. Santoianni Lanese, age 72, of Bridgeport, died on Friday, March 31, 2006 at St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Mary Menillo Santoianni and was a life long city resident. Mrs. Lanese was formerly employed as the director of the CNA program at the Greater Bridgeport Labor Council where she was affectionately known as Miss June. She enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, traveling and visiting the casinos. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Anthony V. Lanese, two daughters, Karen Fadden and her husband, Steve and MeriAnn Lanese, all of Monroe, two sisters, Mary Lou Patrick of Fairfield and Patricia Minto of Bridgeport, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Lois Cole. Funeral Information A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will take place on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, 2539 Park Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
