Obituary of Louise A. Lanese

Resident of Orange Louise A. Lanese, age 92, of Orange and formerly of Bridgeport, died on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Orange Health Care Center where she was a resident for the last three years. Born in Derby, on December 29, 1913, she is predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Angelo C. Lanese, her parents, Anna and Joseph Amicucci, and a sister, Lena Fleming. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Louise worked for the University of Bridgeport Food Service in the cafeteria for 26 years. She liked to travel on day bus trips with her friends and also trips to Hawaii, California, and Italy. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Louise is survived by her sister, Amelia Pichulo of Naugatuck, her son, Joseph J. Lanese of Bridgeport, her daughter, Joanne and son-in-law, Norman Choiniere of Orange, three loving grandchildren, Susan Blomster and her husband, Ken of Mendham, NJ, Edward Choiniere and his wife, Peggy of Bethany and Jill Tucker and her husband, Richard of West Haven. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; Kirsten, Zachary, and Daniel Blomster, E. J., Billy, Michael, and Joey Choiniere, and Christy and Shannon Tucker as well as several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank all Louises friends at Orange Health Care Center, Dr. Schioppo, the administrator, office, and the wonderful nurses and nursing assistants who cared for her with kindness and compassion. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Augustine Cathedral, 359 Washington Ave., Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday, November 19, 2006 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
