Obituary of Arlene C. Zuzick

Arlene C. Zuzick, age 81, of Salisbury, MA, and formerly of Fairfield, CT passed away peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2022 at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA. Born in Bridgeport on August 3, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Martin D. and Helen A. (Zitnay) Zuzick. Arlene was employed by Dexter Shoes, Inc in Massachusetts for many years as a supervisor in accounting. She also was an accomplished painter of scenic items that are in many homes. Arlene was the matriarch of family gatherings throughout New England, that brought together folks that would not have seen each other for years. She was especially close to childhood friends scattered across the country. Arlene is survived by many within her extended family. A proud piece of our large family, Arlene will be missed for a long time.

Survivors include her sister, Alice Mahan of Washington, her brothers, Martin Zuzick and his wife Mary Jane of Shelton, Robert Zuzick of MA, and David Zuzick and his wife Katherine of Naugatuck, her sister-in-law, Judith Zuzick of Naugatuck, as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Conklin and her brother, Theodore Zuzick.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
