Obituary of Nancy Ann Platt

Nancy Ann Platt, 84, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 29, 2022. Nancy was born on June 2, 1938, in Bridgeport to the late George and Mary Marshall. She went to Bassick High School and graduated in 1956. She worked as a Human Resources Administrator for many years at the Southern Connecticut Dialysis Unit and PHS before her retirement. She enjoyed animals, cooking, walking, shopping, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and colleagues. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed spending time in Newport, RI and visiting her family in California. Nancy had a warm heart, a gentle and kind spirit and a playful sense of humor that touched many hearts. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her so dearly. Her family would like to thank all the wonderful loving people at the Jewish Home, especially her closest caretakers for their ongoing care, kindness, and support. Survivors include her devoted husband, Clifford Platt of Bridgeport, her beloved children, Karen Lika-Clough and husband Chris of Fairfield, David Platt and husband Douglas Tamo of Walnut Creek, CA and Christopher Platt and husband Robert Dorman of West Hollywood, CA, her cherished grandson, Ronnie Clough of Fairfield, her brother James Marshall and wife Angela of Monroe, her sisters Susan Marshall of Trumbull, Ellen Marshall and husband, Bob Pedenski of Trumbull, close family friend Lorraine Zartarian of Trumbull and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, George Marshall, mother Mary Marshall, sister Joan Fedak and husband John. Friends may call on Friday, November 4 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Abriola Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull. A prayer service will take place at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Jewish Home, 4200 Park Ave, Fairfield, or the American Alzheimer's Association.
