Obituary of Jan Grochowski

On Sunday, August 21, 2022 Jan Grochowski loving husband and father passed away peacefully at age of 95 surrounded by his family. Born in Poland on September 5, 1926.

Jan is survived by his wife Helena, daughters, Sabina Grochowski-Wyrwinski MD and son-in-law Peter Wyrwinski MD and Romana Carroll.  He was predeceased by his parents Wladyslawa and Stanislaw Grochowski and three brothers and sisters.    

Jan was a long time employee of Bridgeport Machines .

Services are being held on Monday,  August 29th at 10:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 310 Pulaski Street, Bridgeport, CT.  Visitation will be on Sunday, August 28th between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT.

In lieu of flowers family requests that a memorial donation be made to Humane Society or local animal shelter.
