Obituary of Robert Anthony Scinto

Robert Anthony Scinto, 64, of Stratford passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Robert was born in Bridgeport on February 8, 1958. He was the son of the late Anthony Scinto and Dolores Rende Scinto. Robert was an Electrician by trade and worked at Stamford Hospital for 40 years. He loved fishing, being near the water, and spending time with his friends and family. Robert loved caring for and driving fast cars and was an avid Yankees fan.

In addition to his mother Dolores, Robert is survived by his son Anthony Scinto and his wife Victoria of Webster, NY; his daughter Jeanette Scinto and her fiancé Carl Lowery of Raleigh, North Carolina; his grandchildren Diana and Vivian Scinto; and countless family members. Along with his father he was predeceased by his brother Anthony Scinto and his sister Linda Rossetti.

Robert leaves us after battling cancer. His strength through his life and the cancer treatments is an example for all of us. The family would like to extend our greatest thanks to all of his colleagues, and all those at The Bennett Cancer Center at Stamford Hospital.

His family will receive relatives and friends at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull on Thursday July 14th from 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated directly at Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford on Friday July 15th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Robert's memory may be made to The Bennett Cancer Center, c/o Stamford Hospital, One Hospital Plaza, Stamford, CT 06902.
