Obituary of Carol Ann Pluchino

Carol Ann (Honeyack) Pluchino, age 77, of Stratford passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Joseph P. Pluchino. Born in Bridgeport on February 25, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Stanay) Honeyack. Carol was an avid reader and also enjoyed tending to her garden. She was a woman of great faith and had been a parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford. Her greatest enjoyment however was found in the time she spent surrounded by her loving family. A loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her beloved husband Joseph of 48 years, other survivors include her loving children, Joseph S. Pluchino of Stratford, Kevin C. Pluchino of Norwalk and Kristen H. Pluchino of Stratford, her sisters-in-law, Sandra Honeyack of Stratford, and Carol Pluchino and Janet Vinson, both of Ansonia, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Honeyack, Jr.

All funeral services and interment in Mountain Grove Cemetery were held privately for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
