Obituary of Patricia Massimino

Patricia (Piccirillo) Massimino, age 83, of Easton and formerly of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Carmen Massimino. Born in Bridgeport on May 21, 1938 she was a daughter of the late John R. and Eva (Riopel) Piccirillo. Patricia grew up in Trumbull and was a graduate of Laurelton Hall. She loved many types of music, especially the works of John Lennon. She was a great cook and enjoyed a glass of wine while being surrounded by her family and close friends. Patricia was “tough as nails” and would defend her family at all costs but would also give anyone the shirt off of her back if they were in need. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving children, Michael Massimino and Dina Vogt and her partner Robert Nicola, both of Easton, her cherished grandchildren, Abigail and Cassandra Vogt, her brother, Frank Massimino and his wife Ornella of Bridgeport, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband Carmen of 53 years, she was also predeceased by her brother, John Piccirillo and her sister, Roberta Cioppa.
