Obituary of Pasqualina Nicolia

Pasqualina Sanita Nicolia, age 95, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Giulio Nicolia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2022 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Frosinone, Italy on November 18, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Amato and Angela Nicolia Sanita. Pasqualina loved to cook for her family and friends and could often be found tending to her garden. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cared for and loved her family unconditionally. Her love and memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Survivors include two loving daughters, Rita Testani and her husband Gino of Bridgeport and Maria Paniccia and her husband Natale of Monroe, four cherished grandchildren, Michael Testani and his wife Luciana, Jean-Marie Coppola and her husband Greg, Natalie Mallone and her husband Larry and Elizabeth Alves and her husband Danny, two adored great grandchildren, Nicolas and Gina Coppola, a sister, Palmira Paniccia, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. At the family's request, masks are required and please adhere to social distance. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Vincent J.
