Obituary of Ellen D. Ming

Ellen D. (Brinkworth) Ming, age 70, of Trumbull passed away peacefully after a long illness on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at St. Joseph Center, Trumbull. She was the beloved wife of Jack Ming. Born in Teaneck, NJ on July 28, 1951, Ellen then grew up in Bergenfield, NJ. She was a daughter of the late Richard and Helen (McGinn) Brinkworth. Ellen had been employed as the office manager at Carriage House Motorcars of Greenwich for over 35 years until her illness no longer allowed. She was a huge fan and supporter of the New York Giants. She never missed an opportunity to cheer on her team. Ellen enjoyed spending summers at the lake in New Hampshire with her family and friends. A loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her beloved husband Jack of over 36 years, other survivors include her loving daughters, Jenna E. Ming of Trumbull and Kaitlin J. Ming of Denver, CO, her sister, Gail Dughi and her husband John of Woodstock, IL, special niece and nephews, Meghan and Patrick Dughi and Michael Brinkworth. She was predeceased by her brothers, Richard and Thomas Brinkworth.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave., Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation, P.O.
