Joe always had a twinkle in his eye, almost like he knew a secret we didn’t know. Joe was gentle, but strong. He was quiet but when he spoke he was so knowledgeable and interesting. Joe had a wonderful gift of compassion and I remember one special time when he reached out to me during the NJ Charismatic conference when I cried listening to the song, Above All. Joe and Fran were called together by God to be an inspiration for the rest of us and Joe will continue his part of the work from heaven. You are in my prayers.

Thank you, Barb. That was all so true. I think we gave him a proper send off. The Mass was lovely and I have appreciated your prayers all along. I do believe Joe will continue his work from his heavenly mansion.

I am truly saddened to read of Joe's passing but inspired by the story of his life detailed in the obituary. And that picture captured him perfectly. I was fortunate to work with Joe for many years at Sikorsky. He towered over me by a foot but never made me feel small. Always calm, always helpful, always professional. We were both working early versions of computer systems, learning on the fly, and Joe's abilities were apparent to all. He certainly helped me. He took me with him on the only helicopter ride I had in 35 years at Sikorsky when we went across Long Island Sound to deliver telemetry data to Grumman. Good memories. He and Fran were fixtures at Saint Lawrence for years and I always looked forward to seeing them in their usual spot in church My sympathy to family and friends, like me, who were fortunate to have Joe in their lives.

Thank you for sharing that remembrance. He was a Company Man and loved his work at Sikorsky, and spoke highly of his coworkers. We all were very blessed to have him in our lives.
