Obituary of Norbert R. Krusinski

Retired Teacher for the State of Connecticut Norbert (Kurt) Raymond Krusinski, age 72, of Trumbull, died on Sunday, March 2, 2008 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in West Hazelton, PA on December 11, 1935, he was a son of the late Thomas and Helen Marciniak Krusinski. He was a graduate of Warren Harding High School, the Norwalk State Technical College where he received an Associates Degree in Applied Science in 1970, Central Connecticut State College where he received a Bachelor of Science in 1978 and a Master of Science in 1983 and Southern Connecticut State University receiving a Master of Science in 1991. He was a retired teacher for the State of Connecticut with 20 years of service, teaching at Emmett OBrien and Bullard Havens Technical Schools. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and also loved his pet cats. Kurt was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mary Gondar Krusinski, a son, Kurt Krusinski and his wife Jennifer Grove of Seattle, WA, two daughters, Jill Krusinski and her husband Bill Simmons of Redmond, WA and Laura Krusinski and her husband Jan Kloub of Waterville, ME, two brothers, Richard Krusinski of Bridgeport and Leo Krusinski of Shelton, a sister, Irene Symansky of Fort Edward, NY, three grandchildren, Kyle and Kate Simmons and Lena Krusinski as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
