Obituary of Thomas S. Wilczynski III

Thomas S. Wilczynski, III age 27, of Shelton, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Born in Bridgeport on December 16, 1994 he was the beloved son of Thomas S. Wilczynski, Jr. and Dacey Doherty.

Tom was a graduate of Shelton High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree in finance from UCONN with honors in three and a half years and went on to become a software engineer and developer.

He was an avid NY Giants, NY Yankees and UCONN basketball fan. He loved snowboarding, playing golf and had a special place in his heart for Vermont. But his greatest enjoyment came from hanging with friends and spending time with family who meant the world to him.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his brother, Ryan Wilczynski as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, James and Joan Doherty and his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Helene Wilczynski, Sr. and his best friend and cousin, Danny Wallace.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at Gate of Heaven Cemetery for the immediate family. A walk-through visitation will take place on Sunday from 3-6 pm at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, Trumbull. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building.
