Obituary of Raymond Petrucciano
Raymond Petrucciano, age 54, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 31, 2021 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on October 12, 1967, he was the son of the late Alfred and Assunta Camellio Petrucciano. Ray was a Corrections Officer for the State of Connecticut with 16 years of dedicated service and was also formerly employed by the Coca Cola Corp for 18 years.
Ray was larger than life; his presence could light up a room and he was able to make you laugh and put a smile on your face immediately. He enjoyed spending time at the club, playing cards with his friends and cooking for family and friends. But above all things in life he treasured time with his family, especially his daughter. Ray was a loving and dedicated father, brother, uncle and friend and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his cherished and adored daughter, Rachel Petrucciano, Rachel's brother, Mitchell Moscovics, a sister, Anna Marie Spadaro and her husband John, nieces, Michelle and Alyssa Spadaro, his companion, Amy Tucker and her children, Madeline and Andrew Tucker, an aunt Maria Michela Camellio of Italy, as well as many dear friends. The family would like to thank Kevin Tarquino and Gerry Maloney for their support during this difficult time.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Masks and social distance are required. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to benefit the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
