Obituary of Maria Felicia Paulino

Maria Felicia Paulino, age 95, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Manuel Claudio Ribeiro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 12, 1926 in Sao Bento, Porto De Mos, Leiria, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Jose Paulino and Maria Felicia Ribeiro.

Maria was a kindhearted and loving person; she always had a smile on her face and would help anyone in need. Beginning at a young age, family meant everything to her. She helped care for and raise her neighbor's four children after the passing of their mother and loved them as her own and spoke of them often. She gave of herself without question to help her own children and grandchildren. The unconditional love she gave and the family values she taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Maria will be deeply missed.

Survivors include three loving children, Mario Claudio and his wife Maria Adelina of Bridgeport; Aldina Perpetuo and her husband Fernando of Monroe; and Amilcar Claudio and his wife Adelaide of Canada; son-in-law, Irmenio Narciso of Portugal; 10 cherished grandchildren and their spouses, Cristina and Michael, Paulo and Vaddona, Nelson and Cynthia, Daniel and Patricia, Suzel and Jamie, David and Vanessa, James, Philipe and Stephanie, Wendy, Andrea and Mario; 14 adored great-grandchildren, Alexander, Katerina, Mateo, Yasmeen, Nicolas, Adam, Ciena, Eva, Manuel, Sofia, Aliyah, Julia, Emma, and Tiago; a sister, Ludovina Santos and her husband Armindo of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Manuela Narciso; two brothers, Jose and Joaquin Paulino and a sister, Emilia Paulino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 429 Huntington Road, Bridgeport. Interment will take place in Sao Bento Cemetery, Porto De Mos, Leiria, Portugal. Relatives and friends may greet the family at a walk-through visitation on Tuesday morning from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Masks and social distance are required.
