Obituary of Kenneth F. Palmer Sr.

Kenneth F. Palmer, Sr., age 59, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Mary Grace (Cupo) Palmer, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in his home. Born on May 31, 1962 in Stamford, he was a son of Eleanor (Marro) Palmer of Cedar City, Utah and the late Anthony Palmer. Ken had been employed for many years by O & G Industries, where he worked as a driver. He was a master of all things, and never missed the opportunity to lend a hand to anyone in need. On most weekends, Ken could be found at one of his son's homes babysitting his fur grand babies or assisting with any home projects. Ken was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, who loved country music and disco. Above all else, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many and was only a phone call away to help anyone. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his beloved wife Mary, of 36 years and his mother Eleanor, other survivors include four loving sons, Kenneth Palmer II and his wife Cheynna of Southbury, Michael Palmer of Derby, Robert Palmer of Trumbull and Mark Palmer of Trumbull, a brother, Kirk Palmer and his wife Carol of Ansonia, two sisters, Dawn Cornell Aragon and her husband Pat of Cedar City, UT and Sherry Miles and her husband Tony of Las Vegas, NV, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, a great nephew and cousins. He also leaves his cherished feline companions, Kitty, Shmitty and Roo. In addition to his father, he was also predeceased by a nephew, Joseph Cornell.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Norwalk.
