Obituary of Robert J. DiCicco

Robert J. DiCicco, age 85, of Stratford, beloved husband of the late Jean Mastandrea DiCicco, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on June 27, 1936, he was a son of the late Ercolino and Anna Basselini DiCicco and was a longtime resident of Stratford.

Robert was the owner of Bob & Ray Painting for over 40 years. He enjoyed playing pinochle with friends and family. His favorite hobby was working on and selling cars, you could always find him in his garage. He was always interacting with anyone who crossed his path. Spending time with his grandchildren was his greatest love of all along side buying his daily numbers after a stop at the coffee shop. Heaven gained one of the finest men.

Survivors include three loving children, Raymond DiCicco and his wife Kimberly, Mark DiCicco and Ruth-Ann DiCicco all of Shelton, a daughter-in-law, Libby DiCicco of Orange, 12 cherished grandchildren, Mark, Jonathan, Isabella, Sophia, Ray, Nichole, Rachel, Heather, Emily, Robert, Joseph and Sara and five great grandchildren, Raelyn, Ava, Adrianna, Savannah and Taylor; a sister, Viola DiCicco, a brother, Donald DiCicco, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Robert DiCicco, Jr. and nine brothers and sisters.

A walk-through visitation will take place on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Visitors are recommended to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
