Obituary of Peter Blum

Peter Blum, age 70, of Fairfield, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Reid, Austria he was the son of the late Nikolaus Blum and Maria Gross Blum.

Peter grew up in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He attended Lehigh University where he earned a Master's degree in Material Science. He then went on to receive his MBA from Wharton School of Business. He attended the original Woodstock. Peter worked in Manhattan for an international consulting firm and traveled the world for business. He was an avid skier and motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed attending car shows and races with his children. He spent his life learning and reading.

Survivors include his two loving children, Kristen Fracasso-Kersten and her husband Jason Kersten and a son Eric Blum and his wife Lisa as well as three cherished grandchildren, Veronica, Parker and Ryder.

A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends and relatives may call on Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
