Obituary of Natalie Kozdeba

Natalie Norell Kozdeba, age 45, of Milford, died peacefully on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at her residence. Born in Bridgeport on March 30, 1962, she was a daughter of Hjalmar and Ruth Jankowski Norell of Trumbull. A graduate of Trumbull High School, class of 1980 she excelled in softball, basketball and track. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Bridgeport. Natalie was a director of Nursing for Pond Point Health Care Center in Milford and was a former volunteer for Trumbull EMS and St. Joseph Manor. She was also in the Who's Who of Nursing.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband of 18 years, Robert Kozdeba, two sisters, Nancy Zarrella and her husband, Christopher of Wakefield, RI and Nicole Lay and her husband Oliver IV of Fairfield, mother-in-law, Violet Kozdeba of Trumbull, a brother-in-law, Mark Kozdeba and his wife Marjorie of Trumbull, nieces and nephews, Oliver Lay V, Meredith Lay, Owen Lay, Sean Kozdeba and Hanna Kozdeba. 

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
