His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with family, especially his grandkids. He cherished all the time attending their sporting events.

In addition to his beloved wife Filomena of 66 years, survivors include a loving son, Nicolangelo Cuoco and his wife Jennifer of Fairfield, three cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Ellie, and Nathan Cuoco, a brother, Domenico Cuoco and his wife Carmelina of Italy, two brothers-in-law, Anthony Formato and his wife Linda of Shelton, Joseph Formato and his wife MaryLou of Fairfield, three sisters-in-law, Giovanna Cuoco of Italy, Patricia Formato of Bridgeport and Ann Alcaraz and her husband Michael of Shelton as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Pasquale Cuoco, and a brother-in-law, Angelo Formato.
