Obituary of Mark C. Tragianese

Mark C. Tragianese, age 58, of Shelton, beloved husband of Nora Dalby Tragianese, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at his residence.

Born in Bridgeport on October 12, 1962, he was a son of the late Anthony Tragianese, Sr. and Angelina Renzi Tragianese.

Mark was a graduate of Sacred Heart University and was currently working as an IT Salesman with OMNI Data of West Haven. He loved music and was active in music his whole life.

He was a Professional Drummer / Drum Instructor, and along with his Lead Singer Wife played in the band TRAG. He was an ASCAP Registered Musician / Songwriter, and published four Compact Music Discs: "Build Machines", "11th House", "Catch the Storm", and "Short Attention Span Theater".

Proud of his Italian heritage, Mark enjoyed listening to the Italian House Party on the radio and working in his vegetable garden. He was a man of faith and for many years was a Lector and Altar server at St. Margaret Shrine in Bridgeport. Mark was an avid sports fan and his favorite teams were the Red Sox, Raiders and the Mets.

In addition to his beloved wife Nora of 17 years, survivors include his brother, Donald Tragianese and his wife Wendy of Crystal Lake, IL, father and mother- in- law, Larry and Lorraine Dalby of Beacon Falls, a sister and brother- in- law, Lisa and Jim Mathews of Naugatuck, nieces, Christina and Angela Tragianese, Nancy Alves and her husband Tony and Jesika Mathews, Keelin Mathews, great nieces and nephew, Leo and Marlee and Bentley, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Anthony Tragianese, Jr.

All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, August, 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Avenue, Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lawn Cemetery, Shelton. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
